Recent addition to Lockwood Racing, Drizzle, has made an immediate impact registering a comfortable win at Doomben today at her first local start.

The 3yo daughter of I Am Invincible, formerly with Sydney’s premier Trainer Chris Waller, was stepping out in a Fillies and Maiden over 1200m.

Jumping well and camping right behind the speed in the run, only two questions needed to be answered as the field straightened for the run home – would Drizzile get the split and, would she handle the Heavy 10 rated track.

It was a resounding yes to both.

Jockey James Orman drove Drizzle between the leading pair and the filly let down well, skipping through the conditions to record a comfortable 2.75 length victory.
